I am a PhD (Psycholinguistics) candidate in the Department of General Linguistics, Stellenbosch University. My research interests lie in the fields of psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics, and can be summarised as follows:

Psycholinguistics:

• Embodied cognition
• Experiential relativity

Sociolinguistics:

• Language and ideology
• Linguistic articulation of mental illnesses
